Morse Family Portraits; The Ruins in Marriotsville, MD

They might look like you're all-American family, but I promise you they are so much more than that. And you don't want to miss these pictures because they are ONE beautiful stinkin' family, that is for sure. I saw Molly a few weeks before Mrs. Morse even emailed me about pictures, and Molly had already asked me if I would be willing to take family pictures for their family. OF COURSE! Molly has been one of my closest friends since 7th grade. I couldn't ever have dreamed of having friends that would last this long. Through distance, through fights, through lost packages.. we have made it to today and I have had the joy of getting to know my friends' families equally as well through this journey.

Colin will be a sophomore at the University of South Carolina and Molly will be a junior at College of Charleston. They have an adorable pup named Mozart, who is a small bundle of joy. He is always there to greet you at the door and he is always up for a stomach rub and some puppy-lovin'. Of course Mozart is in the pictures, we could not go the entire time without including him!

When I talked to Mrs. Morse  about where we wanted to take our pictures, we decided on The Ruins which are right across the street from their house. They are beautiful. I walked around The Ruins for maybe five minutes and already knew exactly how I wanted their family pictures to look. Beautiful. There is so much character to the stones, to the archways in the structure, to the big, open windows and the light streaming in. Now I can see why so many folks want to take their pictures in this place. It was hot that day, but we took pictures in the late-afternoon so it wasn't as bad as it could have been. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Morse for letting me hang out with and photograph your beautiful family. You are both wonderful. Enjoy these pictures!
