Sneak Peek: Morse Family Portraits!

The Morse's might be one of my favorite families. There is just that one family that you KNOW you can count on to always ask you how you are doing, always be interested, and always seem to be up to date on the important things happening in your life. Not to mention that their daughter is my best friend (funny how that works out like that)! Check out some of our pictures from yesterday's Family Portrait Session. This beautiful family made it easier than I could have even imagined to take their pictures at the fabulous Ruins right across from their house!!

Beth + Ryan: Maternity Shoot at Clark's Elioak Farm

I have no idea what it is like to be pregnant, but I DO know that in the summer heat when you are carrying around extra baby weight you must be HOT. Especially in this summer heat that we have been experiencing so far this year. It has been crazy hot, crazy humid, and not very good for being outside. So when Beth, Ryan, and I were scheduling to do a Maternity Shoot for this past weekend, I knew it had the potential to be miserable. But we did it. We fought through the heat and we made it through - we were all dripping by the end of the shoot, but Ryan and Beth were fantastic the whole time. And they brought their sweet dog Rocky, a 3-yr. young Black Lab who is full of energy (he probably get's that from Ryan). When Beth and Ryan first told my family that they were pregnant (with their first baby!!), I knew right away that I wanted to take pictures for them and of their new baby. I asked them pretty early on and I am so thankful to have gotten the time to do this with them. Having never done a Maternity Shoot before, I was definitely a little nervous going into this but Beth is beautiful and Ryan is as photogenic as they come so it was just plain EASY.  

Beth has that pregnancy glow right now and is absolutely radiant. Despite the heat, she was so patient the entire time! If you could find two words to describe Beth + Ryan, I think those words would be loving (in every sense of the word..to each other & to other people) and life-giving. They are SO fun to be around and are ALWAYS making people laugh - especially Ryan. Growing up, Ryan always knew how to make me laugh at times when I would have the biggest scowl on my face. I would be so mad and then Ryan would do something that just completely changed my face. I know they are going to love this baby so well. They will love their little one and will raise their little guy/girl to love people and to just enjoy life. I love that about them. I hope you can see that in these pictures!

Beth - you are a MODEL!

 I don't really even need to tell you how they love each other, because i think it's so obvious. These pictures are proof of their love for each other and of their growing baby. Only 4 more weeks until we get to meet this little guy/girl!! Can't wait to meet you little one.

Beth and Ryan are having a BABY!

My big brother and his wife are having a BABY in less than a month! Today I got to hang out with them and take pictures for them so they can remember these nine months. I can't WAIT to have another niece or nephew... thanks for letting me take your pictures you guys! I love you both. Enjoy this little sneak peek today and look for a full blog post tomorrow!
